Authorities in South Texas say a statewide Amber Alert for a toddler who was abducted by a family member Saturday afternoon has been canceled after the little boy was found unharmed in Dallas.
Legend Torres, 2, was taken from Children's Park in the 200 block of South CM Allen Parkway in San Marcos around 1:30 p.m., according to the San Marcos Police Department.
Police said in a post on Facebook the young boy was located "safe and unharmed" at about 1:50 a.m. after he was found in the Dallas area along with the suspect in the case, Joey Torres, 46.
The San Marcos Police Department identified the vehicle the pair were traveling in and worked with the Dallas Police Department to locate it.

Officers found the vehicle at an apartment complex in Dallas, where both Joey Torres and the toddler were found. Police say Joey Torres is in custody.
