The statewide Amber Alert for a 3-year-old boy reported missing in San Antonio has been discontinued.
Jose Gonzalez was reportedly abducted Monday at about 6 p.m. when his mother's car was stolen.
WOAI-TV in San Antonio reported Anai Gonzalez had left the boy sleeping in the car when she went into a store to pickup her boyfriend. When she returned to the parking lot, her car was gone.
A statewide alert was issued a short time later, with the child believed to be in grave or immediate danger.
WOAI reported Monday night the boy was OK and had been found at about 9 p.m. near La Grange, more than 100 miles away from where he was taken. WOAI also reported the car theft suspect had been taken into custody.
