Legendary Texas oilman T. Boone Pickens married Toni Brinker in a Valentine's Day ceremony in Pampa Friday afternoon.
Pickens married Brinker, the widow of Dallas restaurant entrepreneur Norman Brinker, in a small ceremony at a chapel on Pickens' Mesa Vista Ranch in Pampa. Family and a few friends including Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his wife Gene were in attendance.
Pickens proposed to Brinker at his ranch in front of family in December.
Pickens is an Oklahoma native who made much of his fortune in oil drilling.
The 85-year-old Pickens has since become an advocate for alternative energy sources. He also is active in politics and has donated millions of dollars to his alma mater of Oklahoma State University and various other causes.
