Five people and a dog made it safely out of a burning home in The Colony Friday morning, authorities said.
Firefighters said they responded to a two-alarm fire in the 4600 block of Brandenburg Lane at about 6 a.m.
A man and his young daughter had to climb out of a window to escape the fire, firefighters said. A woman and two other children escaped through the garage.
No injuries were reported.
The fire started near the front of the house - cause unknown at this time.
