Father and Son Dead, 1 Female Wounded in Fort Worth Shooting

Police said the shooting was being investigated as a family violence incident

A man is dead after fatally shooting his son and wounding a female late Saturday in Fort Worth, police say.

Officers were called shortly before midnight to the 3300 block of North Harding Street, where three people were found with gunshot wounds.

One man, who police say shot his 17-year-old son, was found dead at the scene. He was identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner on Sunday as 40-year-old Michael Terry Goss Jr.

The 17-year-old and the female were taken to a local hospital for treatment, where Angel Marcus Goss died shortly after arriving, police said.

The female, whose age and relationship to Goss Jr. and Goss were not released, remained hospitalized Sunday.

Police said the shooting was being investigated as a family violence incident.

No additional information was available Sunday.
