Two people were hurt, including one who was transported to a hospital, after a fire erupted Christmas Day at an East Dallas auto body shop.
The fire was reported at about 2:30 p.m. at Trulia Auto City in the 7200 block of Ferguson Road, near Grove Hill Road.
Dallas Fire Rescue officials said two mechanics were working on a car when the car caught fire. The fire spread to several other cars nearby, and at least eight of them were damaged.
One mechanic was transported from the scene to Parkland Memorial Hospital for treatment of burns, while the other had minor burns and declined transport to the hospital, officials said.
