1 Dead, 1 Injured in Fort Worth Crash

The driver remained at the scene

One person was killed and another was injured Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, in a crash involving a vehicle in the 2300 block of South Riverside Drive.

Police were investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian accident Friday in Fort Worth.

Two men were hit at about 4:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Riverside Drive.

One was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as 63-year-old Cornelius Davis.

The other man was transported in serious condition to a local hospital. His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening, according to MedStar.

The driver, 23-year-old Abel Chuco Gonzales, remained at the scene, police said.
