Community Conversation: Changing the Face of Classical Music

The Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Dallas Black Dance Theater recently announced a public concert to honor those who have lost their lives to racial violence and injustice. The performance on Nov. 11 will premiere new work from Quinn Mason, 24, who some consider classical music’s next superstar. NBC5’s Deborah Ferguson talked with Mason about his path to composer, his new music and the change he sees in his industry.
