Ohio Polar Bear Celebrates Birthday

It’s a special day at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. “Amelia Gray”, one of the zoo’s polar bear cubs, is celebrating her first birthday. At one-year-old, the cub already weighs 289 pounds. Experts say polar bear populations are declining because of the disappearance of sea ice. They estimate only 20,000 to 25,000 polar bears are left in their native range.
