New Technology to Bring Driver's License to Your Phone

Imagine having your driver’s license on your phone Instead of in your wallet. A new pilot program in Maryland is testing the idea. Over the next few months about 400 Maryland transportation employees and their families will be given digital ID’s to use at a handful of businesses. It’s a two year pilot project, so there’s time to do more testing after the first round this summer.
