Will Terrell Owens be wearing a Dallas Cowboys star next year? Showtime's "Inside The NFL" doesn't think so and ESPN's Ed Werder has a new story saying Owens has hurt the team's chemistry.
Werder's story cites two team sources who said that Stephen Jones will try to talk his father, owner Jerry Jones, into cutting Owens.
The sources reportedly said that the relationship between Owens and offensive coordinator Jason Garrett has reached a point where the two can no longer work together.
The other issue is Owens' signing bonus, if cut, the $12 million bonus invested by Jones last year would affect this year's salary cap.
Garrett has been interviewing for head coaching jobs since the end of Dallas' season -- and it is unlikely that the Cowboys would make any decision on Owens until the team is more certain of their coaching staff for the 2009 campaign.
