I've had a day to digest Terrell Owens' release from the Dallas Cowboys. I stand by a couple of things I've said yesterday: I don't think this is going to make them a better team this year, and I don't think this will magically fix the chemistry problem. I do however agree it will help the locker room a bit, but until someone (Romo) steps up and takes leadership of this team you're stil going to have the same problem. A talented team with no leadership.
The one thing I find humorous is that all of the sudden team chemistry matters to Jerry Jones. Last week, when I sat down with the owner, he said he doesn't put any stock into the team chemistry as a reason for underachieving. In fact, this isn't the first time he's made such a statement. Him changing his mind is nothing new. But this leads me to believe that Jerry didn't want to make this move, and there were too many other people that did.
