Financial radio personality Dawn Bennett is "in good standing" with the Dallas Cowboys after the NFL team withdrew a lawsuit and said allegations of late lease payments for a suite at AT&T Stadium came from a misunderstanding with the woman's bank.
Cowboys Stadium LP's request to cancel the breach of contract lawsuit was approved by a judge in March. The lawsuit, filed last November, alleged that Bennett hadn't made the $500,000 annual payment for the 2014 season and paid only $200,000 in 2013.
Bennett is the CEO of Bennett Group Finance Services in Washington, D.C., and hosts a nationally syndicated radio show called "Financial Myth Busting."
The Cowboys wrote in a letter provided by Bennett's attorney that the team had "worked through any and all misunderstandings" with her bank.
