Woman Struck by Vehicle on U.S. 75

A woman was struck by a vehicle Thursday on U.S. Highway 75, the second in as many days. The woman was hit between 6 and 6:30 a.m. on northbound U.S. 75 at the Lemmon Avenue exit, police said. The vehicle, possibly a compact car, may be missing the right side mirror. No driver description was available. Her condition was not available Thursday afternoon. In a separate incident Wednesday, a woman was struck at U.S. 75 and Haskell Avenue by a vehicle that fled the location. She was transported in critical condition to Baylor University Medical Center.
