The renewable energy industry is bracing for a tumultuous new year as it tackles challenges from potential federal policy changes and new tax laws.If President Donald Trump imposes tariffs on imported solar cells and panels, it could help the fortunes of a few domestic solar companies while risking overall industry growth in 2018.Then there is the possibility of subsidizing power from nuclear and coal plants.
