Today is likely to be the hottest day of the year (so far) with a high up to 102 in DFW. A heat advisory remains in effect until 8PM. Sunshine and dry weather will remain in place, but a weekend change is coming. A weak cold front will bring a chance for spotty showers and thunderstorms Saturday.
