Today is starting off quite similar to yesterday with clouds and fog. The fog will lift later today, but the clouds will likely linger through the day for DFW and points east. Farther west, the sun will be out, resulting in warmer weather to the west. Meanwhile, the high will likely stay in the 50s for DFW with the pesky cloud cover.A strong cold front will arrive tomorrow and send temperatures tumbling. In fact, it will start near 50 in the morning and drop into the 30s in the afternoon. There is a slight chance some light snow or sleet may develop Thursday afternoon. Temperatures will drop below freezing Thursday night into Friday morning. The weekend looks quite cold. Early next week, we will be watching whether or not that cold air hangs around as moisture streams back into the area. That could mean the possibility of wintry precip early next week.
