Mayor Mike Rawlings has decided, for now, that he won't fight a new Dallas Police and Fire Pension System policy that will allow retirees to take out small withdrawals from their lump-sum accounts.Rawlings on Friday announced he'll give up his request for an injunction against the pension system. State District Judge Tonya Parker was set to hear arguments for an injunction Tuesday. In December, the mayor had won a temporary restraining order that suspended large lump-sum withdrawals.
