Dallas police are asking for the public's help locating a man who has made threats to harm himself. Kirk Maurice Thurmond, 30, was last seen about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of West Jefferson Boulevard, near South Zang Boulevard, in North Oak Cliff. Thurmond is a 5-6 black man who weighs about 145 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a Yankee's hat, black shirt and blue denim jeans.
