Man Killed Trying to Cross Interstate 30 in Garland

A man trying to cross Interstate 30 in Garland was struck and killed by a passing vehicle Wednesday, police reported.Two men were trying to cross the interstate near Broadway Boulevard around 11:45 p.m., Garland police reported. One made it, but the other was struck by a driver who immediately pulled over and cooperated in the investigation.The wounded man, who has not been identified, was taken to a nearby hospital where he died, police said.The driver is not expected to face charges, police said.  Continue reading...
