Man Fatally Shoots 63-year-old During Graduation Party at Arlington Home, Police Say

A man faces a murder charge in the fatal shooting of a 63-year-old man at a party Sunday afternoon, Arlington police say. Officers found the victim shortly before 6 p.m. with gunshot wounds in the backyard of a home in the 5000 block of Nocona Lane, near Caplin Drive.Police think the shooting happened during a college graduation party at the home after Hector Salazar became involved in an altercation with the victim. Salazar, 44, shot the man multiple times and fled the scene, but was arrested nearby. The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
