Man Fatally Hit by Truck While Trying to Catch DART Bus

A man trying to cross the street to catch a DART bus was struck and killed by a passing vehicle in south Dallas Wednesday night.The 57-year-old man was trying to flag down the bus near 700 E. Ledbetter Dr. around 8:52 p.m. when a Chevy pickup truck travelling through a green light hit him, according to police.The man, who has not been identified by authorities, was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Continue reading...
