Man Dies in Crash After Ramming Another SUV, Arlington Police Say

A man died Tuesday after ramming another vehicle with his SUV in what Arlington police described as a domestic situation. Officers were called about 5:45 p.m. to an incident involving two SUV's at West Division Street and North Cooper Street, near the Arlington Police Department.Police said a man lost control of his SUV for an unknown reason and had struck a utility pole on the south side of the street. The man, whose identity has not been released, was taken to a local hospital, where he died. A woman who was in the other SUV was taken to a local hospital with injuries not thought to be life-threatening. Another woman and a teenager were also in the vehicle, police said. Investigators think the crash resulted from a domestic situation between the man and one of the women. Police said he lived with the woman and the two had been romantically involved.Police think the man was following the women and ramed their SUV and attempted to hit it several times before the crash. All lanes of Division Street were closed while the incident was being investigated.   Continue reading...
