A Mesquite dad is reunited with his family after returning from deployment and surprising his sons Monday during a school pep rally, KDFW-TV (Channel 4) reported.Cesar Martinez, a technical sergeant in the Air Force Reserve, came home from Qatar and decided to reveal himself to his sons in dramatic fashion, Channel 4 reports.Martinez dressed up as the jaguar mascot for Pirrung Elementary School in Mesquite, where his two sons attend third and fifth grade. When he finally pulled off the jaguar head and revealed himself, his sons Gabriel and Gavin jumped to hug their father, a video from FOX 4 shows.“I prayed that he won’t get a heat stroke or run out of water,” Gabriel told Channel 4. “And I kept praying every night that he’d come home safely and return to his family.” Continue reading...
