Freight Train Kills Man on Tracks Beside Fort Worth Neighborhood

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a freight train Tuesday afternoon in South Fort Worth.The victim, a man in his 50s, was hit about 1:40 p.m. near where the railroad tracks pass a neighborhood on McCart Avenue, just north of Interstate 20.The man died at the scene, police said.
