A Fort Worth teen died at a hospital Monday after falling from a horse. Jocelyne Campos, 19, was riding at Echo Park near Interstate 35W and East Berry Street when the accident happened, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner. The horse she was on Sunday suddenly sprinted away, causing her to fall off, family friend Karely Vazquez told The Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Campos often rode in the area where her friend had a horse stable. Vazquez said Campos liked animals and enjoyed going to her grandfather's farm. The 19-year-old graduated from South Hills High School and planned to attend Tarrant County College in the fall, The Star-Telegram reports. A GoFundMe campaign organized by Mariel Barajas to help Campos' family exceeded the $5,000 goal by Wednesday morning. Barajas wrote on the site that family and friends had gained an angel.
