Driver Killed Early Saturday When Vehicle Hits Construction Trailer on LBJ Freeway

A motorist was killed early Saturday morning after a vehicle struck a construction-arrow trailer on Interstate 635 in North Dallas, police said.The accident occurred about 1:10 a.m. in the 5900 block of LBJ Freeway, near Preston Road. A 2001 Honda traveling eastbound veered to the left, police said, and collided with the center concrete wall.The car then continued eastbound and struck the stationary trailer, which penetrated the front windshield of the Honda, killing the driver.No other vehicles were involved and the driver has not been identified, pending notification of kin.  Continue reading...
