If the storms that pummeled North Texas this week knocked trees and branches down in your yard, the Dallas Zoo may be able to put them to good use. Every day, keepers fill one or two box trucks with collected limbs and branches from the piles that neighbors in area around the zoo have set out on the curb. It's not just elephants that like the branches and leafy vegetation, called browse.
