32-year-old Man Missing From Grand Prairie

Grand Prairie police are investigating the disappearance of a man who went missing Aug. 17 from his home. Hop Nguyen, 32, was last seen on camera about 10:30 p.m. driving his white Nissan 350Z in Grand Prairie on State Highway 161 exiting Lower Tarrant Road, family friend Shally Nguyen said. His car is also missing, she said. Nguyen is a 5-2 Asian man with an average build, his sister Jenni Nguyen said. He has black hair, brown eyes, a scar behind his right ear and a half-sleeve tattoo on his right arm, his sister Jenni said.Home surveillance video shows someone walking backwards and placing a piece of paper over the camera outside Nguyen's front door in the 2400 block of Lancaster Drive the night he went missing. His family believes he was kidnapped or might be in danger, Shally said."We hope someone saw his car or saw him around that time," Shally said. "Any information helps at this point because we are running into walls." Detectives haven't said whether or not they suspect foul play in the incident.
