21-year-old Fatally Struck by 2 Vehicles After Walking on Highway Ramp

A 21-year-old man was killed Thursday night when he was struck by two vehicles after he was walking on a highway ramp in west Oak Cliff, police said. Alfredo Garcia was walking northbound in the roadway on the southbound ramp from State Highway Loop 12 to 1000 S. Walton Walker Blvd. about 9 p.m., police saidHe was struck by two vehicles: a white Dodge followed by a Buick Enclave.Garcia was transported to Methodist Central Hospital where he was pronounced dead.Both drivers remained at the scene and don’t face criminal charges, police said.  Continue reading...
