Two residents were checked by EMS during a blaze at northwest Dallas house overnight. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the 4400 block of Irvin Simmons Drive, near Royal Lane and Midway Road, about 3:30 a.m. Friday. Heavy smoke and flames were through the roof of the one-story brick house. No injuries were reported, though two residents were checked by EMS on the scene.
