KITTENS STOLEN FROM PLANO PET STORE
The Frisco Humane Society said a thief walked off with two kittens from a Plano pet store on Wednesday morning. The kittens were stolen sometime from the Petsmart in the 3300 block of Central Expressway near East Parker Road. Patches, a calico, and Nelson, a Siamese, were taken. POLICE FIND STOLEN RADIO DISNEY VAN
Dallas police recovered a stolen Radio Disney van Thursday evening. The radio station van was stolen earlier Thursday from B.H. Elementary School in Pleasant Grove. Police found the vehicle abandoned in a convenience store parking lot. Investigators said $15,000 worth of radio equipment that was inside the van was missing.

POLICE CHARGE MAN IN DEATH OF 3-MONTH-OLD
An Oak Cliff man faces a capital murder charge in the beating death of a 3-month-old girl. Police said Ponce told officers he dropped the child last weekend while giving her a bath, but caught her before she hit the floor. An investigation showed the child's injuries were not consistent with his story, according to police.

DALLAS POLICE OFFICER FACES ASSAULT CHARGE
A Dallas police officer was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of assault. Dallas police classified the arrest of Senior Cpl. Randy Joe Alexander as a Class C family violence assault. Alexander is a 22-year veteran of the police force. He was placed on administrative leave until a full investigation is done.

TWO SUSPECTS INDICTED IN RACIALLY CHARGED TEXAS CASE
An East Texas grand jury indicted two white men Thursday in the racially charged hit-and-run death of a black man who was dragged beneath a vehicle. Shannon Finley and Charles Crostley are charged with the murder of 24-year-old Brandon McClelland, whose mangled body was found Sept. 16 on a country road. Finley and Crostley remain in the Lamar County Jail. (Read more: NBC DFW)

BURGLARY SUSPECTS NABBED IN 'AWESOME ARREST'
Officers tracked theft suspects up through a hole in a closet ceiling and through attic crawl spaces at an east Fort Worth apartment complex, police said. Melissa Diane Harrison, 20, and Jacob Jordann Bright, 18, were arrested Wednesday after police found items in their apartment that their neighbor had reported stolen, police said. PLANO MAN SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IN POLICE STANDOFF
A Plano man was sentenced to 20 years for a March 2008 incident where he fired four bullets at police during a 12-hour standoff. Brandon Hofer, 19, pled guilty to four counts of aggravated assault on a public servant and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The jury deliberated less than three hours to determine his sentence. (Read more: Allen American)
