Taco Cabana says they are planning to give away 60,000 free chicken fajita tacos on Oct. 2.
That's in celebration of National Taco Day...oh cripes.
Now we're torn: free chicken fajita taco from 5 to 8 p.m. at participating Taco Cabana locations sounds good, but now we've got another "national ____ day" faux-liday to deal with.
Can't we just call it like it is? Taco Cabana wants you to buy stuff, so they're giving you a sample for free.
UPDATE: Looks like Taco Cabana isn't alone in celebrating National Taco Day.
Blue Mesa is offering free street tacos from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the bar area on Oct. 4. They'll also have drink specials to wet your whistle. Click here for more information.
