7/6: It's Oh So Quiet

After a three day weekend of cooking and cocktails, here are three ideas to help you rest up

STARS AND STRETCHES: If there is one thing that you can say about yoga -- besides the fact that it makes you look 100 times better than ever before -- is that you you feel 100 times better than you did before you stepped in the door. After a long weekend of BBQ and beer, it's time to flush those toxins. Come practice yoga and experience the life-changing benefits with Ronda Litwin, a registered yoga teacher tonight at the Samuell Grand Park and Recreational Center, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. All levels are welcome. Each class is taught with modifications for beginners and advanced students. Come try your first class for FREE.

GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR SEERSUCKER: If you're still looking to sip a Mint Julep or two without moving around too much and with as minimal noise as possible, then you need to go watch a tennis match. Today, world class USTA Pro Circuit tennis professionals will continue to compete for $50,000 in prize money. Don't miss the great tennis action through July 11 at Hilton DFW Lakes in Grapevine.

LETTING MOMMY REST: Do you need a chance to sit with a cold rag over your eyes without too many toys whizzing past your head? After the three day weekend you've just had, there's no shame in that. Let your kids "Go Outside and Play" this summer on the shores of Lake Grapevine. Ages 4-13 can come for a day, a week, or all summer. Activities include archery, target shooting, kayaking, fishing, swimming in the lake, geocaching, nature walks, teambuilding & outdoor games, arts & craft projects, and more. They've also got a water slide and water trampoline for the lake. Group discounts, multiple week discounts, and limited partial scholarships are available.
