Hi, This is “Porkchop” I was able to rescue him from a worksight in 2020. He was roaming wild, wouldn’t come within 20 yards of anyone. Food and fresh water were left out, but he would not approach if anyone was in sight. I was bringing meat chopped into bitesize squares to toss in his direction to gain trust, and entice him closer to attempt petting him. It took about 45 days to get him in petting distance. Once I pet him, the second time he leaned into it and we’ve been mates ever since. The meat was porkchops, when I arrived on sight, I’d rattle the container and shout more porkchop, and he would appear, so once he chose to go home with me, I just named him “Porkchop” as he sorta thought that was his name anyway. Meet 9-year-old Cooper with 18-year-old Sam (no, they are not related!). Adopted from local shelters. Cooper was found, with an eye infection, in the crawl space under a house. Sam had been abandoned at an apartment complex and was found in a trash dumpster, also with an eye infection. We love our kitties & wish we had more! Rescue pets are the best! Both of my Shiba Inus were rescued from Texas shelters. Kitsu on the left and Yoshi on the right. Sadly, we just lost Yoshi at age 12. Really love this Japanese breed and plan to rescue another primitive breed dog after our Kitsu passes on (she is 14). Hello, “ all leashed up and ready to go” for our 6:30 a m walk! Daisy Mae and Maggie! Both are rescue dogs I’ve had for years. Daisy is 15, Maggie is 13. In hot humid weather we walk 30 minutes. In cooler or cold weather we 45 minutes. Both are mixed breeds, sweet and wonderful dog friends and my faithful companions.

Our sweet rescue dog Wally enjoyed his first beach experience in Panama City Beach, Florida last week! Although he’s a born and bread Texas boy, that Florida humidity got to him! Wally was rescued from San Antonio pets alive this April, where they successfully treated his heart worms. We love exploring Dallas with him and hope yall see him around!

Our rescue dog, Duke, LOVES to swim & play in the water going after his favorite water toy.
He is a 7 year old Blue Heeler that we rescued when he was about a year old. He did not like the water at first, but soon began loving to jump in after his favorite toy. After running in the yard & getting hot, he also thinks this is his own cooling off pool & will go lay on the tanning ledge to cool off.

old at the time – now about 18 months old.

Sadie is 10 years old and came from Harboured Souls Rescue 10 years ago.
We just gave Danny boy a home in July after losing our 17 year old rescue in April.
Danny Boy has turned Sadie into a puppy again, and they are having a wonderful time together! He has an adorable underbite, and he is a cherished new family member!
