Cobie Smulders of How I Met Your Mother fame and her hubby Taran Killam of Saturday Night Live recently snatched up a Manhattan condo unit, according to the New York Observer. The funny duo bought a swanky apartment unit at 2 River Terrace in the Battery Park City, following in the A-lister footsteps of Leonardo DiCaprio and Tyra Banks who also own in the celeb-friendly building.
The unit, which set the couple back $2 million, spans 1,580 square feet and boasts three bedrooms and three baths, which is the perfect amount of space for Smulders, Killam, and their two-year-old daughter, Shaelyn Cado Killam. High-end amenities of this Battery Park City home include a 190-square-foot master suite, a master bath with radiant floor heating, and a soaking tub and separate shower.
Killam and Smulders (she plays Robin Scherbatsky on the hit CBS sitcom) can enjoy luxury living at their new apartment and also know they're doing a bit to help out the environment. The high-end building is eco-friendly, meaning that the building is made of environmentally responsible materials. But just because the building is green doesn't mean that the couple will be missing out on all the luxuries expected when shelling out $2 million. The building includes a yoga studio, 50-foot lap pool, kids playroom, 24-hour concierge service, and free bike storage.
Green living and first-class luxury? We're sold.
