Meredith Land co-anchors NBC 5 News at 5 & 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and also reports.
Meredith joined NBC 5 in October of 2003, after four years at the NBC affiliate in Charleston, S.C., where she was the morning anchor and lead investigative reporter.
Over the years, Meredith has been recognized for her extensive work in the field. Meredith was awarded a National Gracie Award for her report about a groundbreaking treatment that stopped a young girl’s seizures.

She has been nominated for five Lone Star Emmy awards and has won investigative reporting awards from the Associated Press, RTNDA (Radio-Television News Directors Association) and South Carolina Broadcaster's Association. She was also awarded a STAR award for producing and reporting a 30-minute special from Afghanistan.
Meredith serves on the National Advisory Board for the Laura W. Bush Institute for Women’s Health, as well as the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army DFW Metroplex Command.
Meredith graduated from Clemson University with a major in English and a minor in Journalism. She lives in Dallas with her husband and two young children.
