Keenan Willard reports for the 10 p.m. news on NBC 5.
A native of Raleigh, North Carolina, Keenan reported in his hometown for NBC affiliate WRAL before joining the NBC 5 team.
Keenan started his reporting career out in the West Texas town of El Paso, where he covered several stories that resonated nationally, including immigration at the southern border and the Aug. 3, 2019, mass shooting at the Cielo Vista Walmart.

A rabid sports fan, Keenan is a long-suffering supporter of the NC State Wolfpack (and thrilled for SMU to bring ACC hoops to DFW).
