Eva Parks is the producer for both NBC 5 Investigates and NBC 5 Responds As the resident watchdog, she covers a variety of issues fighting for consumers in North Texas and beyond.
Eva is right at home at NBC 5. She grew up in Richardson and is proud to call North Texas home.
As part of NBC 5 Investigates Eva helped uncover mistreatment of wounded soldiers at the Army’s Warrior Transition Units, institute change in police policy, and exposed safety concerns and corruption inside Dallas County Schools.
Eva has been nationally recognized with multiple journalism awards including a 2017 Peabody Award, five Edward R. Murrow Awards, IRE Award Finalist, two national Society of Professional Journalist awards and a National Emmy.
When she’s not covering the news, Eva enjoys hot yoga and discovering hidden trails to hike across DFW with her family.
