Ahraya Burns is a Journalist for NBC Dallas- Fort Worth. She contributes to the NBC 5 newscasts, website, and social media accounts including breaking news, sports and entertainment stories. Ahraya studied Journalism at Grambling State University and served as a newscast producer in Dallas for several years before joining NBC 5.
She is also a part of the NABJ (National Association of Black Journalists) organization and has won two Lone Star Emmy Awards during her career journey.
