If you eat at Freebirds, bring your appetite -- and tomorrow's, too.
Everything on the menu is filling, and if you're adventurous enough to try the Super Monster Burrito, you'll probably agree it could feed at least four.
It's made to order out of two massive tortillas.
And you can have anything on it. Want to load up on lettuce, pico de gallo, your choice of beans, rice sauces and more? You can have it all.
But be careful. They can get heavy -- usually more than 4 pounds.
Jeremiah Alder recently enjoyed his first Super Monster. His burrito weighed in at just under 5 pounds.
His fiancee, Miranda Meyer, said she is used to his commitment to crazy portions.
"He does this regularly with a lot of foods, so this doesn't surprise me," she said.
But Alder had a plan. He smothered the burrito in savory goodness.
"That's my favorite part about Freebirds is the sauces," he said. "They have a bunch of different sauces."
Assistant general manager Dina Bails said the Super Monster is a great meal for groups.
"People share them," Bails said. "It's a good meal to share. A family came in last night... and got a Super Monster for their four kids."
The restaurant also has Super Monster Burrito eating contests. The winner gets a trophy and his or her name on a plaque.
There are only two rules: You must have everything on it, and it must weigh at least 4 1/2 pounds.
Talk about a competition.
