Authorities pulled a woman's body from Lavon Lake in Wylie Wednesday afternoon, according to the Collin County Sheriff's Department.
The sheriff's department said the Wylie Police Department contacted them at about 1:55 p.m. Wednesday in regards to the body floating in the water.
The body was taken to the Collin County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.
The woman's identity was not released Wednesday.
