Firefighters in Plano say one person was hurt in a large house fire. That fire is now under control.
The fire started around 6 p.m. Friday at a home in the 1600 block of Cherbough Drive.
We are told that one person inside the home was able to get out just a crews were arriving. They were taken to a nearby hospital to be checked out for lite smoke annihilation. So far, there has not been a further update on their condition.
Firefighters initially went into the home, but were forced to evacuate and fight the fire, defensively, from the outside.
