Mesquite police said all but one lane of Interstate 635 is blocked after multiple vehicles wrecked Thursday morning.
Authorities said three vehicles were involved in the wreck near Bruton Road at about 6 a.m.
Mesquite firefighters said they had to extricate one driver, who was transported to Baylor University Medical Center. There is no word yet on additional injuries.
Police said they're not sure how long traffic will be blocked.
