Dallas police are searching for a man after he assaulted, dragged and robbed a woman outside a North Dallas shopping center.
Judy Smart said she just finished grocery shopping at about noon and was walking to her car in a parking lot at the intersection of Frankford Road and Marsh Lane when she felt someone approach her.
"I saw a shadow behind me," Smart said. "He had a white shirt. That's the only thing I can identify. And he grabbed my purse from the back."
"I just started screaming. And I was thinking -- you're not going to take my purse!"
The man pushed her to the ground but Smart said she kept fighting.
"All I know is I'm out there struggling and finally I had to let go of my bag."
The man snatched her keys and then drove off in her sport utility vehicle.

Smart said she wasn't able to get a good description of her attacker, but witnesses were able to give police some identifying features.
"These people, especially anybody, older folks especially have to be careful," Smart said.
Smart said she's always careful about watching her surroundings and making sure she has her keys in her hands to sound her car alarm, but even that wasn't enough to protect her.
"We live in such a world where you cannot be too careful," Smart said. "I thought I was a real careful person. But hey, it happened to me!"
