Firefighters from several neighboring communities assisted the Lancaster Fire Department battle a three-alarm blaze Friday afternoon.
The fire was reported in an unoccupied, vacant building in the 600 block of West Main Street at about 4:41 p.m., authorities said.
There were no reports of injuries in the fire.
Lancaster crews were assisted by firefighters from Dallas, Desoto, Glenn Heights, Hutchins, Ovilla, Red Oak and Waxahachie in contolling the fire.
