The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is naming the North Texas establishments cited with violations for substituting alcohol brands without customers' consent.
"Operation Bottoms Up" aimed to verify the integrity of alcohol served at 68 licensed retailers statewide.
Undercover TABC agents posing as customers ordered top-shelf alcohol by name and collected 153 samples for analysis.
Testing results indicated 40 samples from 21 retailers across Texas contained substituted liquor in place of the high-end brands.
Last month, documents indicated violations at Gas Monkey Bar N' Grill in Northwest Dallas and Fantasy Ranch in Fort Worth.
Now, the TABC is also noting violations took place in early March at Sherlock's Baker St. Pub on Belt Line Road in Addison and Buffalo Wild Wings on Pavillion Court in Mesquite.
The TABC initially disclosed a violation at Applebee's on North Belt Line Road in Irving, but later said no violation occurred.
