Suspected Dallas Drug House Also Used For Ministry

When Dallas narcotics detectives raided a suspected drug house, they found more than drugs.

Police say they found Thursday a pulpit, prayer list and rows of chairs in the front room of the house where handgun, baggies of crack cocaine and a gallon-size bag of marijuana were found. Three people were arrested on felony cocaine and marijuana charges.

The home's owner, Victory-Phyllis Davis, is a street preacher who has used the house for her ministry. Two of those arrested are her grandchildren whom she allowed to live there while they looked for work.

Davis tells The Dallas Morning News she's shocked and saddened by allegations drugs were being sold from the house. After all, she says drugs are what she preaches against on the streets around the house.
