Several boats caught fire after a reported explosion at a marina on Lake Texoma Wednesday morning. Officials say no one was injured in the fire.
Witnesses captured pictures of at least a dozen boats on fire at the Highport Marina in the 100 block of Highpoint Circle in Pottsboro at about 10:30 a.m.
Texas Game Warden Capt. Steve Stapleton says the fire spread from one vessel to another Wednesday and also destroyed a dock at the lake, which serves as a border between Texas and Oklahoma.
Fire crews prevented flames from spreading to nearby docks at the marina located near Pottsboro, about 70 miles north of Dallas.
Officials say the U Dock at the marina burned and is not salvageable.
It wasn't immediately clear how the fire started.
