School Bus Driver Charged For Inappropriately Touching Students

A former school bus driver is in jail for several charges of indecency with a child, police say.

Leonard Bradford, 42, was a bus driver for the Bridgeport ISD. He was also responsible for transporting children to the Bridgeport Summer Camp program.

Late last month, Bradford admitted to officers that he inappropriately touched five juvenile females during the summer camp program. It was also determined that child pornography was found on Bradford's computer.

He was arrested and booked into the Wise County Jail, where he was charged with five counts of indecency with a child and one count of possession of child pornography.

Bradford has been terminated from the Bridgeport ISD.

Although the case is an on-going investigation, police say there is no evidence to believe any other minors were victimized.

Anyone with information, tips or concerns regarding the investigation can contact Sgt. Todd Low with the Bridgeport Police Department at 940-683-3430.
